REPORT OF FIRING ON “CHOUBBAK AMAL” STAFF

On Sunday, August 23rd, a “Choubbak Amal”'s car was fired on during a bread distribution mission in Al Hameh in Wadi Barada region; the assault resulted in physical damage without casualties. According to “Choubbak Amal” workers and eyewitnesses in the region, snipers in Al Woroud neighborhood overlooking the city of Al Hameh were responsible for the gun firing.

“Choubbak Amal” condemns the assault on its workers, and assures that it will continue its humanitarian and aid work in the regions under siege in Damascus and Rif Dimashq despite all the repeated attacks against its staff. Moreover, it asks all parties to respect the aid workers.
