Since our debut in 2011

Our sole focus was to help people in need and work to implement justice and decent life.

I could believe anything except seeing our projects fall apart and our employees getting displaced.

Furthermore, I feel guilty and ashamed because we lack the ability to respond but to a small fraction of people's essential needs, even the conditions of a big number of our previous donors worsened to the extent that they became dependent of our support.

"Choubbak Amal" got used to setbacks and always prevailed despite its wounds: "Our exile was not in vain at all, and we did not go into exile in vain" (Mahmoud Darwich)

In spite of all the defeats, we will continue. Moreover, we are in the process of expanding our work to cover new regions in Syria, starting with the opening of a school in the Quneitra governorate with the beginning of the school year.

How I wish to meet more than 300 of our loyal displaced workers to kiss their tired hands; they were working and still are to distribute bread and ensure justice to the poor.

During the years of war, "Choubbak Amal" accomplished some big achievements. We started by distributing children's books and organizing small cultural projects. With the change of people's needs we optimized our response and diversified our projects; a hungry child cannot learn.

Therefore, "Choubbak Amal" carried out a number of fruitful projects, for example, it provided food to hundreds of thousands of people, most of them under siege. Furthermore, we built schools, we developed networks that support many medical establishments, we also helped many small organizations to become today one of the most important organizations working in the same field as us.

Bread, medication, and souls of loved ones are alive in our memory.

Since our debut, we took a vow: we do not seek money nor power, we are forever anchored towards mankind.
